Terms of Service

01About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Voiceuno mobile app, PC app, and website (the "Service") provided by BUKCS PTE. LTD. ("we", "us"), 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422.

By installing or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02The Service

• Audio recording and playback
• On-device speech-to-text transcription
• Importing recordings already on your device
• AI summaries with source timestamps — requires a connection; daily limits apply
• Export, PC sync, and other features
• We may add or change features. We give advance notice of material changes that work against you.

03Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old, or the minimum age in your country if higher. If you are a minor, you need a parent's or guardian's consent to buy a subscription.

04Recording laws — your responsibility

Recording laws differ by country. In many places, including Korea, recording a conversation between other people that you are not part of is a crime. Some lectures and meetings forbid recording or require permission first.

You alone decide, and are responsible for, whether a recording is legal and how you use or share it. We cannot access your recordings and do not check their legality.

05Your content

You own the recordings, transcripts, summaries, and notes you create ("Content"). We claim no rights to it.

When you request an AI summary, we process that text temporarily and only to produce and return the summary. We do not store it or use it for any other purpose, including model training.

Content is stored only on your device and can be lost if the device is lost, reset, or the app is removed. Export anything important. We cannot recover Content stored on your device.

06Accuracy of transcripts and AI summaries

Speech recognition and AI summaries can be wrong. They may misspell names, numbers, or technical terms, or state things that were never said.

Tap the timestamp beside a summary line to check it against the audio. Do not rely on results as-is for exams or for legal, medical, or financial decisions. We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness.

07Free use and ads

Recording and transcription are free with no limits. AI summaries are free up to a daily limit that resets each day by server time (UTC). The free version shows ads.

Free limits and features may change; we will announce changes in the app or on the website.

08Subscriptions

• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store at the price shown in the store, which may vary by country.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal in the store's subscription settings. After cancelling, premium features stay available until the paid period ends.
• Refunds follow the store's refund policy. Nothing here limits any statutory consumer rights you have, such as a right of withdrawal.
• If we raise a subscription price, we give notice as the store requires, and you may cancel before the next renewal.
• Premium benefits are those shown on the subscription screen in the app, such as no ads and more AI summaries.

09Prohibited use

• Recording others unlawfully, or using recordings to violate anyone's rights
• Reverse engineering or modifying the app, or bypassing free limits or subscription checks
• Sending automated or bulk requests to our relay server, or otherwise disrupting the Service
• Using the Service to break the law
• We may restrict the related features if we find any of the above.

10Intellectual property

The app, website, trademarks, and designs belong to us or their rightful owners. We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service. Open-source components are governed by their own licenses.

11Interruptions and discontinuation

We may suspend parts of the Service — especially AI summaries — for maintenance, outages, or problems with third parties such as the AI provider or app stores. Recording and transcription run on your device and keep working.

If we discontinue the Service, we will give 30 days' notice and handle any remaining subscription period under applicable law and store policy.

12Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Except for our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for loss of Content, legal issues arising from your recordings, or errors in AI results. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.

This section does not affect consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under the law where you live.

13Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. This does not take away any protection you have as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live, including the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

If a dispute arises, please contact support@voiceuno.com first. We will try in good faith to resolve it.

14Changes to these terms

We will announce changes in the app or on the website at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that work against you). Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
